I’m Claire Jo Harmer

You can find my paintings at ‘A Kick Up The Arts’, gallery and studio with artist Mark Bell. AKUTA is a fantastic space for workshops and my own studio explorations!

Always excited by new ideas or chasing curiosities … I use my experiences, sketches and photographs for reference, then embrace a spontaneous approach to new works, responding with energy and making marks intuitively.

I recently heard the phrase “follow your goosebumps” I love that and live that as much as I can (within reason!)
